To give those reading this blog some insight into its author, here are a few more things about me: 1. I am 17 years old, will be a senior in high school in the Fall and live in San Francisco. 2. I love to travel and am very excited that my first time to Ireland will be with the University of Notre Dame; 3. I am an avid tennis player but have recently been enjoying Pilates and weight training as well; 4. I love to design clothing and have made many of my formals as well as several coats for my mom; 5. I volunteer a couple of days a week at Brady Therapeutic Riding where I not only help those with special needs, but the horses themselves as they are all rescue animals; 6. I like being part of my high school community and am actively involved in student council (I always raise my hand to plan the next school dance) and the Cancer Awareness Club; 7. I am a member of Insignitos, our student ministry group, and lead the daily prayer a few times each month. I also just came back from Kairos which was an incredible experience and I hope to be a student leader next year; 8. I love spending time with my friends and also making new ones; and 9. I like to stay busy, but I also like my downtime and love to read and listen to music.
